Tamecia Glover is a trial lawyer in the Houston office of Rob Wiley, P.C. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Glover represented employers before state and federal courts in employment litigation disputes and counseled HR and management teams on all aspects of employee relations, including: harassment, discrimination, termination, discipline, leaves of absence, reductions in force and wage-hour matters. Ms. Glover developed a passion for employee-side issues and now uses her experience and expertise in employment law to help empower individuals to protect their employment rights and promote workplace fairness.
Ms. Glover earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC).
During her law school tenure, Ms. Glover served as the President of the UHLC Student Bar Association and the President of the Black Law Students Association. Ms. Glover also helped charter the University of Houston’s Black Business Students Association for graduate students and acted as the student liaison for the JD/MBA program. Ms. Glover received the Distinguished Service Award and was named the first Graduate Student Leader by the University of Houston due to her active involvement at UHLC and Bauer. Ms. Glover was also the elected by her classmates to be the class speaker for the UHLC 2012 Graduating Class.
Former Governor Perry appointed Ms. Glover to the University of Houston System Board of Regents where she provided policy guidance to enhance the educational experiences of over 65,000 students across the university system. Since her term expired, Ms. Glover has supported the University by serving on the University of Houston Black Alumni, Katy-Area and Law Alumni boards. Tamecia is a member of Houston Young Lawyers Association, The Houston Lawyers Association, The Downtown Group, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Ms. Glover is a dedicated and passionate advocate for her clients and will fight to promote justice in the workplace.
Ms. Glover is licensed to practice law in Texas. She is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts of Texas as well as all Texas state courts.
